Ten headed to prep all-state baseball games

SNOHOMISH — The Wesco South team tied the Wesco North team 1-1, and then won 4-1 in a Wesco league senior all-star baseball doubleheader played at Snohomish High School on Wednesday.
Ten players from the game were nominated to play in the all-state games on June 9-10 in Yakima: Lake Stevens’ Anthony Blackie, Dylan LaVelle, Jake Nelson; Marysville Pilchuck’s Brandon Dormaier and John Naff; Edmonds-Woodway’s Ryan Budnick;Mountlake Terrace’s Alex Hatch and Austin Johnson; Glacier Peak’s Kennan Miller; and Shorecrest’s Ted Hammond.
