EVERETT — Kamiak’s Austin Hall carried the ball 19 times for 263 yards and four touchdowns as the Knights beat Cascade to earn its second Wesco 4A South win.

Cascade fought back in the air. KJ Brady caught nine passes for 147 yards and a touchdown, but turnovers plauged the Bruins offense. Cascade fumbled three times and Kamiak picked off quarterback Ryan Lukas twice, including one interception that Bryce Richards returned for the Knights’ third score.

“We were fortunate to be able to get some turnovers. Usually that has kind of been us this year,” said Kamiak head coach Dan Mack.

Hall’s 263 yards keep him in contention for the conference rushing title, but he would be the last one to hog all the credit according to Mack.

“Austin would be the first to talk about his offensive line and receivers,” said Mack.

Kamiak led 28-0 at the half. Cascade got on the board in the third quarter with a Malik Rackliff TD, but Brett Ludeman responded by rushing for two touchdowns and expanding the Knight’s lead to 42-6.
