Prep volleyball: Kent Classic

KENT — Jackson finished 2-3 at the 27-team Kent Classic hosted by Kentlake and Kentwood High Schools. The Timberwolves dropped matches to Emerald Ridge and Skyline, but defeated Eastside Catholic and Todd Beamer in pool play. Selah then beat Jackson 2-1 to end the Timberwolves’ day. Kamiak also participated in the 27-team tournament and the Knights went 1-4, with the lone win coming against Skyline’s B team.
