Notes: The big news for Everett is that center Jujhar Khaira returns to the lineup. Khaira has been out since Oct. 12, missing 10 games because of a lingering upper-body issue. He begins the game on the fourth line as the Tips ease him back into action, but we’ll see how long he stays there. Two other players cycle into the lineup as winger Patrick Bajkov and defenseman Micheal Zipp come in for winger Logan Aasman and defenseman Noah Juulsen. Goaltender Austin Lotz (ankle) remains out injured.

Notes: Former Silvertip Trent Lofthouse makes his first appearance at Comcast Arena as a member of the Giants. Lofthouse was traded from Victoria to Vancouver earlier this season. The Giants play without overage defenseman Dalton Thrower (undisclosed) and center Anthony Ast (upper body) because of injury.
