Prep boys basketball: King’s 72, Lakewood 34

ARLINGTON — Jacob Storkson and freshman Corey Kispert each scored 16 points and hit nine 3-pointers in the first half as King’s outscored Lakewood 52-14 before halftime en route to a Cascade Conference win. Kispert finished with a team-high 18 points for the Knights, who were ranked No. 3 in Class 1A in the first Associated Press boys poll of the season. King’s finished with 11 3-pointers for the game.

Lakewood’s Ryan Alford led all scorers with 19 points and hit four 3-pointers.
