MARYSVILLE — A diesel fuel spill in Marysville on Friday afternoon gummed up traffic along State Avenue.
A semi truck’s fuel tank ruptured about noon, leaking 75 gallons of fuel, according to the Marysville Fire District. A second-alarm hazardous materials response followed.
The spill happened alongside Burlington Northern Sante Fe tracks, north of 116th Street SE. Train operations were running normally, a spokesman said.
