Prep volleyball: Edmonds-Woodway 3, Woodinville 2

WOODINVILLE — The Edmonds-Woodway volleyball team won its season opener, edging Skyline in a tight non-conference match.

Edmonds-Woodway won the first two sets, only to see Skyline rebound to win the next two. The Warriors then claimed the final set 15-13.

Standouts for E-W included Hanna Rehnfeldt (34 digs), Amanda Paavola (13 kills) and Kelly Gootee (47 assists).
