Ban high-octane booze downtown

Regarding the article, “Task force zeroes in on ways to address homelessness”: Has anyone on Mayor Stephanson’s task force thought about limiting the beer alcohol by volume content (say 5 percent) sold by the “little stores” that dot the area? This would leave wine. Take a look at the alcohol content of Cisco or Night Train (easily available in that area) sometime. Times the percentage of alcohol by two to get what proof it is and then look at how much can be consumed. This isn’t your weekend merlot by a long shot.

While homelessness has many factors, this may be a way to make the solutions a little more manageable.
