Parents must set good example

In regard to the Sept. 25 girls soccer game between Archbishop Murphy and Granite Falls High School: First, let me congratulate both teams who played an exciting, equally matched game. Then let me shame the parent who vocally put down “people from Granite.” You know who you are because you embarrassingly walked away when asked what you meant by the remark.

I, too, have a child who attends private school as well as public school and would like to compare our faith, children’s GPAs, annual gross income and college degree if you would like further clarification regarding “those Granite people.”

I think the Bible says it best in Matthew 7:1-5 “Stop judging, that you may not be judged”

Thank you and good luck to both soccer teams for the remaining season.
