MARYSVILLE — Alexa Iacolucci scored the lone goal of the match in the 79th minute to help Shorecrest preserve its unbeaten record in Wesco 3A/2A play with a 1-0 victory over Marysville Getchell on Thursday night.

Marysville Getchell coach Wayne Nash said his team missed several opportunities to clear the ball before it fell at Iacolucci’s feet. The Shorecrest junior midfielder turned and bent it around the keeper for the decisive tally.

“We defended very well tonight,” Nash said. “Shorecrest had the majority of the possession, but we had four or five great opportunities to score.”
