Notes: Good news for Everett as forwards Nikita Scherbak (thigh bruise) and Remi Laurencelle (ankle) return from injury. Scherbak, Everett’s leading scorer, missed two games, while Laurencelle sat out nine. Despite their return, 15-year-old call-up Bryce Kindopp remains in the lineup, and defenseman Carter Cochrane continues to play as a forward. Winger Dawson Leedahl (knee) and defenseman Tristen Pfeifer (upper body) remain out injured.

Notes: Kootenay’s record may not be impressive, but the Ice are 8-2 since Sam Reinhart, who can make a strong case for being the league’s best player, returned from the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres. Defenseman Dylan Overdyk is out with an upper-body injury. There’s some Everett ties on Kootenay’s roster, which includes former Silvertip center Ryan Chynoweth, as well as defenseman Troy Murray, the younger brother of former Everett captain Ryan Murray.
