Prep girls basketball: Mariner 54, Oak Harbor 32

EVERETT — Mariner rode a solid second-half effort to a victory over Oak Harbor on Wednesday. Hannah Hezekiah scored 24 points, including three 3-pointers for Mariner.

“She had a pretty solid game all around,” Mariner head coach Corey Gibb said. “There’s not a lot of gaps in her game.”

Denisa Grebovic had a strong performance as well, scoring 15 points and four 3-pointers in Mariner’s first victory of the year.

“(I’m) proud of our girls,” Gibb said. “They went out and played really well.”
