Prep girls basketball: Marysville Getchell 40, Garfield 37

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — A short-handed Marysville Getchell team — which suited up just seven players — held off Garfield in a non-conference game at the Mountlake Terrace Holiday Tournament.

Jada Romulus led the Chargers with 12 points — including two free throws late in the game that helped preserve the win for Marysville Getchell.
