The senior averaged 13.7 points per game in three state tournament games at the Yakima SunDome this past week. The Knights won all three games and were crowned the 1A boys state champions with a 45-40 victory over Lynden Christian on Saturday night. Bundrant was named the tournament’s MVP.

Lynnwood | Girls Basketball
For a second straight week, Pivec is The Herald’s Athlete of the Week after winning tournament MVP in the 3A girls state tournament this past weekend. Pivec scored 31 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the Royals’ 54-42 win over Cleveland in the state championship game. It was the first state title for Lynnwood in girls basketball.
