Prep softball: Monroe 14, Seattle Prep 4

SEATTLE — Kacey Hvitved and Bailee Senner each homered, and Kiley Ochoa went 3-for-4, to lead Monroe to a non-league win over Seattle Prep.

The contest was shortened to five innings by the 10-run rule.

McKenzie Schulz earned the win for the Bearcats. She pitched four shutout innings, allowing just one hit and striking out 12.
