MUKILTEO — Jordan Bettencourt threw five-plus innings of shutout ball and Dominic Nickerson and Jacob Long notched three hits apiece to lead the Knights to their first win of the season in a non-league matchup with Stanwood on Thursday.

Bettencourt allowed just two hits with four strikeouts and two walks.
