Prep softball: Stanwood 7, Marysville Getchell 0

STANWOOD — Emma London no-hit the Chargers in a Wesco 3A North contest on Tuesday, striking out 10 and walking one.

Spartans coach Cherlyn Schander said London, who was also 1-for-3 at the plate with a double, was consistenly throwing first-pitch strikes against Marysville Getchell.

Seven different players scored runs for Stanwood, and Carly Tiffany went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI. Freshman Emily Tuffey also homered for the Spartans (1-1 league, 2-3 overall).
