Photo allegedly sent to teen leads to arrest in Gold Bar

GOLD BAR — A 20-year-old California man was arrested by Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies early Thursday for reportedly exchanging inappropriate photos with a teen.
The 15-year-old girl’s father called 911 after finding the pair hanging out in the family’s trailer, according to the arrest report.
The suspect reportedly admitted to sending the girl a nude picture and to traveling to Washington to visit her. The pair said they had met through Facebook and denied any sexual activity had taken place.
The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, a felony.
