MOUNT VERNON — Michael Carter batted 2-for-3, including the eventual game-winning RBI single in the top of the sixth inning, to lead Cascade to the Wesco 4A win. Matthew Butler got the Bruins on the board with a two-run single in the first. McGuire Gibson led Mount Vernon with an RBI double.
