Prep softball: Everett 10, Edmonds-Woodway 2

EVERETT — Every cylinder was firing for Everett in its win over Edmonds-Woodway in a Wesco 3A contest Friday. Sisters Megan and Erin Gordon were a combined 6-for-8 with four RBI, and Seagulls starting pitcher Sydney Taggert earned her sixth win, pitching a complete game and striking out nine. Taggert helped her cause by hitting a two-run home run. Everett is undefeated in league play.
