Prep boys soccer: Archbishop Murphy 6, Cedarcrest 0

EVERETT — Archbishop Murphy will head into Saturday’s first round of districts against Burlington-Edison having shut out its last four opponents.

Cedarcrest is the latest to fall to the vaunted Wildcats defense Tuesday night.

Gabe Astone and Sam Johnson scored two goals apiece to lead the offense, and teammates Parker Buchanan and Kenny Ficklin chipped in with a goal apiece as well.

Murphy is 15-0-1 this season and undefeated in league play.
