LAKE STEVENS — It was a pitcher’s duel Thursday as Snohomish scored a run in the third and held on for a Wesco 4A win over Lake Stevens.

Bailey Greenlee and Alyssa Simons combined for five strikeouts while surrendering only two hits for the Panthers.

Sara Johnson allowed only four hits in seven innings for the Vikings, but two throwing errors by her defense allowed Snohomish to score the deciding run.
