Boys Lacrosse: Monroe 15, Burlington-Edison 5

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Johnny Adams and Tyler Morgan and each scored five goals as Monroe cruised to its fifth boys lacrosse win of the spring with a 15-5 defeat of Burlington-Edison on Friday at Sedro-Woolley High School.

Adams led all scorers with nine points including four assists, while Morgan finished with five points, all on goals.

Monroe jumped out early taking at 7-1 lead after the first then added seven unanswered goals in the second for a 13-1 lead at the half. In the third Monroe added two more before Burlington-Edison scored a single to round-out the third and three more in the fourth.
