Fundraiser, Truth In Love: A fundraiser in support of the Truth In Love Project is set for 6:30 p.m. May 15 at Hope Church at Silver Lake, 11329 23rd Drive SE, Everett. Tickets are $20 for the Persian-style dinner. Truth In Love is led by Shahram Hadian of Everett, a Christian pastor and former Muslim who now lectures on the threat of radical Islam. Film: Pastor Lee Jong-rak built a box to save unwanted babies in South Korea. To date, the little compartment has received over 600 children who would have been otherwise abandoned and left to die. Fundraiser, Tanzania: Unity Church in Lynnwood plans a June trip to Tanzania, where 11 members of the church will help build a children’s hospital, birthing center and orphanage in partnership with International Health Partners. Loaves and Fishes: A free community supper is offered 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays at Sultan Community United Methodist Church, 212 Birch St., Sultan.
