Prep softball: Meadowdale 12, Edmonds-Woodway 4

EDMONDS — Meadowdale erased a 2-1 deficit with eight runs in the fifth inning on its way to a Wesco 3A South win tuesday over Edmonds-Woodway.

Three different Mavericks went deep in the game — Hailie Taylor, Emma Helm and Sam Gregoryk — and Helm and Taylor combined for seven RBI to lead the offense.

Ferrari Girouard had two doubles and two RBI on a 2-for-3 night at the plate for the Warriors.
