Prep softball: Lynden 9, Archbishop Murphy 5

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Archbishop Murphy defeated Sehome 7-4 in its opening-round game before losing to Lynden 9-5 in the semifinals, forcing a matchup between the Wildcats and Granite Falls on Friday.

Granite Falls won two of the three regular-season games with Archbishop Murphy, with the Wildcats taking the most recent game 5-4 on May 11.
