AquaSox beat Spokane 11-4 for 6th straight win

SPOKANE — The Everett AquaSox battered Spokane pitching in an 11-4 victory over the Indians in front of 5,441 at Avista Stadium on Thursday night, as the Sox ran their win streak to six games.
Everett (7-1) pounded out 16 hits off five Indians pitchers, with the most damage coming in a seven-run third inning that broke an early 2-2 tie. Spokane (3-5) never threatened after that.
Former Texas A&M standout Logan Taylor went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and a pair of RBI in the game for Everett, including a double and a triple.
Drew Jackson went 3-for-4 with two RBI, and Yordi Calderon and Corey Simpson also drove in a pair in the Everett onslaught.The Sox went 9-for-17 with runners in scoring position.
Everett’s Joselito Cano (2-0) earned the victory with three innings of one-run relief of starter Jose Santiago.
Emerson Ramirez (0-2) started for the Indians and was saddled with the loss after allowing eight runs — seven earned — on eight hits in just two innings of work.
LaDarious Clark went 4-for-5 with two triples for Spokane and stole three bases by the third inning.
