HILLSBORO, Ore. — Fernery Ozuna hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 12th inning, giving the Hillsboro Hops a 4-3 victory over the Everett AquaSox on Monday night.

Ozuna, leading off the inning, blasted a solo shot off Everett reliever Matt Clancy as Hillsboro completed a comeback after trailing 3-1 in the seventh inning.

Ozuna finished the game 3-for-6 to lead the South Division-leadining Hops (19-13), who overtook North Division-leading Everett for the best record in the Northwest League. Hillsboro relievers Cameron Gann and Will Landsheft combined on five scoreless innings of relief to give the Hops the chance to win.

Drew Jackson went 2-for-4 and scored two runs to pace Everett (18-14).

Everett used aggressive baserunning from Jackson and Braden Bishop to build its 3-1 lead. However, the Hops mounted a two-out, nobody-on rally in the seventh to tie it. Sergio Alcantara walked and took second on an errant pickoff attempt. Ozuna singled to left to cut the deficit to one, then Luis Veras doubled to left to score Ozuna, making it 3-3 and forcing extra innings.
