Northwest League All-Stars top Pioneer League 6-5 in 10 innings

SPOKANE — The Tri-City Dust Devils’ Peter Van Gansen hit a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Northwest League All-Stars to a 6-5 victory over the Pioneer League All-Stars Tuesday night at Spokane’s Avista Stadium.
Everett AquaSox left-hander Luis Gohara picked up the win for the Northwest League. Gohara pitched 2 1⁄3 innings, allowing one hit with two strikeouts.
The AquaSox’s Drew Jackson doubled and scored a run in the first inning for the NWL. Jackson was 1-for-2 before leaving the game in the fifth inning.
Everett’s Logan Taylor started in left field and was 0-for-4 with a walk.
