Darrington crash victim identified

DARRINGTON — A 21-year-old man who died in a car crash in north Snohomish County on Wednesday has been identified as Austin C. Hooper, of Darrington.
His death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The crash happened about 2 a.m. along Swede Heaven Road, west of Darrington. The sheriff’s office is investigating. Earlier reports said Hooper was from Arlington.
