ARLINGTON — Officials say they’ve identified the Post Middle School students responsible for a bomb threat on campus Wednesday.
Information on the three boys, all 13, will be forwarded to prosecutors for potential charges, according to Arlington police. Under state law, a bomb threat can lead to a felony conviction.
The threat was written on a piece of wood in the woodshop. Students and staff were taken to a different school nearby for about an hour while police swept the building. Nothing suspicious was found.
All three boys may face school discipline. The Arlington School District declined to provide additional details.
