Months of lane, road closures ahead as Lynnwood repairs pipe

Closure dates for 212th Street SW have been set as Lynnwood leads work to repair a water main break that occurred in November.
Construction is to close all but one lane of 212th Street between 52nd Avenue W and 63rd Avenue W, from Thursday through May 15. A portion of the road (from 52nd Avenue to 60th Avenue) is then to be fully closed, with the rest of the work area still down to one lane, through May 31.
The 0.7-mile stretch of road hugs the border between Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace, passing under I-5 and skirting Hall Lake.
Drivers should expect delays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. All lanes will be open during off-work hours for the first part of the project.
The road is expected to reopen the first week of June.
