This could be fun: “MacGyver” does a crossover episode with “Hawaii Five-0.” It has Mac and the team heading to Oahu to aid in earthquake relief efforts and rescue government scientists trapped in a building. 8 p.m., CBS.

Sigh. Prepare to say farewell to Mystic Falls as “The Vampire Diaries” ends its eight-season run. Stefan and Damon must fight their greatest enemy in one last battle — and Elena (Nina Dobrev) returns. 9 p.m., The CW.
