Thursday’s best bets on TV include:

“American Idol” series finale: The talent show that spawned a couple of pop stars completes a three-night swan song. It’s the grand finale, during which the Season 15 winner gets crowned and past “Idol” winners, including Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, return to belt out a ballad or two. 8 p.m., Fox.

Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon return for another season of “The Odd Couple.” Tonight, they spend some time eavesdropping on their neighbors. 8:30 p.m., CBS.

In the chilling new drama “Game of Silence,” four best friends have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago. Of course, they were wrong. Welcome to their nightmare. 10 p.m., NBC.
