Improve results before buildings

Regarding the vote later this month for a new bond for the Marysville School District. The district is already are receiving 45.5 percent of my property tax. I think that’s enough until the district can show me that it can improve its performance. The state of Washington is ranked 22nd of 50. That’s a 56 percent for the state. If I got a 56 in school I had failed. Within the state, Marysville school district is ranked 141st of 206. That’s 31.5 percent Even worse. I doubt that it’s the buildings that are causing the students to fail to learn. Show me the district is capable of improving, Marysville. Teach our children. Then we’ll talk about replacing buildings. I vote “no” for now.
