CLEVELAND—Browns tight end Connor Hamlett, making his NFL regular-season debut, caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Charlie Whitehurst in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 33-13 loss to New England.
Hamlett, a graduate of Meadowdale High School, played his college football at Oregon State.
Hamlett was signed to the Browns practice squad on Sept. 4 and was added to the active roster Tuesday.
