North county, tolling topics of transpo meeting in Marysville

Local officials, tribal leaders and business groups will meet with the Washington State Transportation Commission in Marysville on Wednesday, Nov. 16, to discuss the region’s transportation issues, challenges and successes.

The meeting is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Marysville City Hall, 1049 State Ave. The meeting is open to the public. A public comment period is scheduled for 4:45 p.m.

The agenda features a series of short presentations on transportation needs and future plans of north Snohomish County, a growing manufacturing center that feeds the aerospace industry. Community Transit and tolling representatives from WSDOT also will be among the groups presenting to the commission.
