There is no time to rest for the Everett Silvertips who are back in action tonight at 7 against the Kamloops Blazers. The Tips don’t go back on the road again until Dec. 9, but tonight will certainly be a test of their energy after a long bus trip last night following a dominating 6-1 victory over the Calgary Hitmen. The Tips are now up to No. 3 in the CHL rankings:
#CHL Top-10 Rankings Week 9: 1-REG, 2-ER, 3-EVT, 4-ROU, 5-PG, 6-LDN, 7-WSR, 8-SHA, 9-MH, 10-OSH. HM: BLB, SNB, MJ pic.twitter.com/PpMDJtmZfi

Everett (15-2-3-0, 33 points) is off to the second-best start in franchise history through 20 games as broadcaster Mike Benton points out:

Kamloops (11-10-1-0, 23 points) is coming off a 7-0 loss to Prince George on Nov. 12. The Blazers boast one of the league’s top goaltenders in Connor Ingram (though he allowed four goals before being yanked after two periods in the loss to the Cougars). Ingram leads the WHL in save percentage at .931, two percentage points higher than Everett’s Carter Hart and Saskatoon’s Logan Flodell. Ingram is third in goals-against average with 2.17.
The leader in GAA? That would be Hart at 1.84, and this save is part of the reason:
Hey @TheWHL, do saves this late in a game work for Plays of the Week?
