ROUND II: Bradly Goethals back in town with the Silvertips

While the Everett Silvertips had the day off from skating Thursday after arriving back from Kamloops in the wee hours of the morning, I was able to confirm that forward Bradly Goethals has rejoined the team. I’m hoping to get a chance to speak to him Friday.
The star forward from Manitoba was acquired in an Oct. 12 trade with the Brandon Wheat Kings for a conditional seventh round pick in the 2018 bantam draft. Goethals brings a strong offensive skill set, but went home for personal reasons on Oct. 19 without playing in a game for Everett.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Goethals led the Manitoba Midget Hockey League in scoring with 74 points and goals with 41 while playing for the Eastman Selects last season where he was a teammate of current Tips defenseman Montana Onyebuchi. Goethals also shares the hometown of Ile-des-Chenes, Manitoba, with Everett goaltender Mario Petit.
Goethals originally committed to Bemidji State. He has skated in camp with the Wheat Kings.
