SPOKANE — Josh Perkins and Silas Melson had 15 points apiece as No. 8 Gonzaga remained undefeated and kept Mississippi Valley State winless with a 97-63 victory Thursday night.

All of Perkins’ points came on five first-half 3s.

Nigel Williams-Goss chipped in 13 points, five assists and three steals for the Bulldogs (7-0).

The Delta Devils (0-9) had an energetic start, but the Bulldogs’ nine 3s built a 21-point halftime lead.

Two 3-pointers by Williams-Goss and six points from Jordan Mathews helped the Bulldogs go up five just 4 minutes into the first half.

Freshman center Zach Collins had two early dunks, both of which he flushed while being fouled.

Rashaan Surles led the Delta Devils with 13 points.

Seattle 82, Northwest 65

SEATTLE — Aaron Menzies scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as Seattle fought back to beat NAIA Northwest University.

Menzies was 9 of 17 from the floor and pulled down seven offensive boards. Morgan Means added 22 points and dished out five assists. William Powell chipped in 17 points for the Redhawks (3-4).

Dak Shagren and Michael Dupree led the Eagles with 16 points apiece.

WOMEN

UW 101, Grand Canyon 66

PHOENIX — Chantel Osahor hit four 3-pointers and had her seventh consecutive double-double, Kelsey Plum scored 28 points with eight assists and No. 13 Washington cruised to a win over Grand Canyon.

Osahor had a career-high 25 points, on 9-of-10 shooting, with 14 rebounds and six assists. Katie Collier added 13 points and Deja Strother 11.
