Police search for suspect in Everett espresso stand robbery

EVERETT — Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery of the downtown Diedrich Espresso stand Wednesday evening.

A man approached the coffee stand on Broadway around 9:30 p.m. He reportedly demanded money and said he had a weapon, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.

Police did not disclose how much money was stolen.

The suspect was described as white and in his 20s or 30s with facial hair, Snell said. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and a hat.

No new information was provided Thursday.
