EVERETT — The downtown Diedrich Espresso stand was again targeted in a robbery Wednesday.
A man walked up to the stand on Broadway around 1:30 p.m. He demanded money and implied he had a gun, Everett police Sgt. Maryjane Hacker said.
The man ran west on 16th Street with the money, Hacker said.
A week ago, the stand was robbed by a man with a similar description. He was white and in his 20s or 30s. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and a hat.
The suspect in a robbery Tuesday at the 13 Buffalos espresso stand on the corner of Rucker Avenue and California Street also had a similar description.
Police are investigating whether the robberies are connected.
