LYNNWOOD — Deputies are asking for help tracking down a suspect who robbed a Lynnwood-area restaurant at gunpoint Friday morning.
A man in his late 20s walked into a restaurant in the 3600 block of 148th Street SW, said Shari Ireton, spokeswoman with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. He reportedly hit an employee in the head with a handgun before running away.
Police were called around 9 a.m.
The employee was treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
The suspect was last seen crossing Highway 99 and heading toward an apartment complex, police said.
He is described as a thin, black man with dread locks, Ireton said. He was wearing a red coat, gray pants and white running shoes.
Anyone with information should call 911.
