ARLINGTON — A pair from Arlington were arrested Wednesday after reportedly leading police on a chase.
An officer attempted to pull over a car for a minor traffic violation in the 20400 block of 97th Avenue NE, according to a press release. It was about 2:20 p.m.
A 26-year-old man was driving and a 24-year-old woman was a passenger in the car. The driver initially stopped, but then took off.
An officer followed until the two suspects allegedly jumped out of the car and ran.
A police dog found the driver. After being given numerous chances to surrender and choosing not to, the dog bit him, according to a press release. He was taken to Cascade Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
Police later spotted the woman walking along Tveit Loop Road.
The suspects were booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of several felonies, including possession of a stolen car and obstructing a police officer.
