Two men killed in separate crashes are identified

MARYSVILLE — The Snohomish County medical examiner identified two men who died in crashes Thursday as Scott H. Williams, of Marysville, and Brian R. Lind, of Stanwood.

Police believe Williams, 52, was in the crosswalk near Fourth Street and I-5 in Marysville when he was struck by a vehicle. He died hours later. Detectives are searching for the driver who had left the crash scene. Williams died of head injuries, according to the medical examiner.

A couple of hours later, Lind, 31, was riding his motorcycle along 268th Street NW in Stanwood. His motorcycle collided with a pickup. He died of head injuries, according to the medical examiner.

Both deaths were ruled accidents.
