Wildfire burning east of Darrington on national forest land

DARRINGTON — A wildfire sparked Sunday east of Darrington in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
As of 7 p.m., flames had covered 20 acres, according to the state Department of National Resources.
The fire is burning near Suiattle River Road.
Firefighters have been sent to extinguish the blaze.
