All-American Mash Up whiskey tasting: Tulalip Resort Casino sommelier Tom Thompson is hosting the Taste of Tulalip All-American Mash Up whiskey tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 25 at the casino, 10200 Quil Ceda Blvd., Tulalip. Try more than 36 different American whiskies while nibbling on small bites from executive chef Perry Mascitti. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased by calling 360-716-1625.
Everett Food Truck Festival: Enjoy more than 20 local food trucks, live music and a beer garden at this year’s festival, which runs from noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at Wetmore Avenue and California Street in downtown Everett. Admission is free, but VIP and early entry tickets are $5 or $30 and can be purchased at www.everettfoodtruckfestival.com.
Watts Brewing Anniversary Party: Bothell’s Watts Brewing is celebrating its one-year anniversary at 3 p.m. Sept. 2 at Bothell’s The Hop and Hound, 18116 101st Ave. NE. Watts will be pouring two new beers: a West Coast version of its Apian IPA and a gin barrel-aged imperial kolsch.
Cider Summit Seattle: Cider Summit Seattle: The eighth annual Cider Summit Seattle is 3 p.m. Sept. 8 and noon Sept. 9 at South Lake Union Discovery Center, 101 Westlake Ave. N., Seattle.
