EVERETT — A Mountlake Terrace woman was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of vehicular assault after a two-vehicle collision on Evergreen Way early Sunday morning.
The collision occurred around midnight at Evergreen Way and 100th Street SW, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell.
A southbound minivan was stopped in the left turn lane of Evergreen Way when the other car drove into it head-on, he said.
The three occupants in the northbound vehicle were transported to a local hospital in serious condition, Snell said.
One of the passengers suffered a broken leg, according to court records. She allegedly told police the suspect, 27, kept falling asleep while she was driving.
“At this point, it is believed alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision,” Snell said.
The driver received medical treatment for broken ribs before being booked, court records said.
