L.A. man died a few days after crash in Marysville

MARYSVILLE — A Los Angeles man died a few days after his Audi collided with two semi-trucks in Marysville on Aug. 9, officials said Tuesday.

Dean Zimmerman, 40, was driving north on I-5. He had passed 136th Street NE when his car struck the back of a semi-truck used to carry cattle, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Audi veered left. Another semi-truck hit the driver’s side of the car.

Zimmerman died from his injuries Aug. 11, according to the State Patrol.
