Published 1:30 am Thursday, October 5, 2017

The National Hockey League began play this week and there are five former Everett Silvertips currently on NHL rosters. That includes defensemen Radko Gudas (Philadelphia), Noah Juulsen (Montreal), Mirco Mueller (New Jersey), Ryan Murray (Columbus) and winger Jujhar Khaira (Edmonton).

Juulsen is on injured reserve, but was thought to be on the verge of making the opening day roster when he broke his foot during the preseason.

A total of 19 Silvertips players have played in the NHL in the organization’s 14 years of existence.
